If anyone knows the origin of Daniel P. Brown, I would very much like
to make contact with them. I am searching for the descendants of John
Brown, born and married in Penn. to a woman the family didn't approve
of. After a couple of years, he went to Ohio where brothers and
sisters were, then on to "near Terre Haute Indiana". In 1842, he and
his son-in-law died of cholera possibly while on a trip down the
river, and were buried in the same grave. That's about all I know of
him. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated!!
Margaret Calvin.

Sarah Margaret McCrocklin-Brown was born abt 1844 in Sullivan
County. She married Daniel P. Brown and had two children ... Jesse
Francis Brown and Mary Pauline Brown.
She was listed in the 1880 US Census in Terre Haute and the Terre
Haute directories for 1890 and 1892 (she was widowed and the
children living with her).
Assume she died in Vigo County prior to 1910, maybe before 1900
(can't find her in the 1900 US Census).
Any assistance is greatly appreciated in finding her date of death
and burial location.
