Hazel,
Robert McCabe family is listed on two pages:
Page 71, bottom of Column 3:
"Guy Welch has two males over 10 and two under; two females over 10
and three under while Robert S. McCabe had the same except that he had
but one small girl."
Page 72, column 1 (after several additional names at the bottom of
page 71, and after the statement about Catherine McClelland:
"Robert S. McCabe lived until 18__ [perhaps 1846?]; he died at the
age of 60, and his wife, Martha Roach, to whom he was married in 1822,
died in 1843 in her forty-fifth year."
[On a personal note: The reason we were searching this 1835 Census
was to find Rebecca (Cowen) (McCabe) Allison. She had married James
B. McCabe (son of Armstrong McCabe of Vigo County) in 1825 in Clark
County, Illinois, and she divorced him in 1829 in Vigo County; she was
also present in Vigo County (apparently in Terre Haute) in 1833 listed
as Rebecca Allison, but we cannot find her in this 1835 census of
Terre Haute. We don't think that Armstrong and his son James B.
McCabe have any relatedness to Robert S. McCabe, but if you know
differently, we'd like to hear from you, Hazel.]
