Subject: [INVIGO] Lookup for Western Register
Hello--does anyone have access to the Western Courier (became Wabash
Courier in 1832)? I'm trying to locate some death information on my 4th
ggrandfather & mother John and Catharine Hain. Their grave stone says
they
both died the same day, November 1830 in Vermillion County. I have
located
a reference to John in the county commissioners' record on Nov.
11, 1830,
so apparently they died after that day in November. I am hoping that
there
might be some mention in the newspaper of whatever happened/or an
obituary.
I know the Vigo County library has this newspaper on microfilm. If
anyone
is there and has a minute to look up the November issues, I would be
extremely grateful! Thanks so much.
