Mark, are you any relation to Larry Atterson that lives here in Terre Haute,
married to Susie?
It might seem like a long shot but we are neighbors and we were gabbing one
day and happened to talk about genealogy and he mentioned his brother Mark,
is doing their family. Said something about being related to Wyatt Earp.
Just wondering....

James William Randolph was born 1840 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.
He married
Susanna Clark in Vigo County, Indiana in 1865. James was the son of
William
Randolph and Francis Ruark who came to Edgar County, Illinois around
1855 with
their other children Elizabeth, Martha, Josiah, and Robbin. Susanna
was the
daughter of John A. Clark and Lucinda Reid who also came north from
Pulaski
County, Kentucky and settled in the Sugar Creek township of Vigo
County just
before 1850 along with other Reid and Clark family members. I
believe Francis
Randolph died in Edgar County just before 1860 and her husband
William went
back to Kentucky. James remained in Edgar County for many years.
He died in
Clark County in 1919. His daughter Francis Randolph married Charles
Brock who
lived in Vigo County. James and Susanna's other children included
Martha,
Lucinda, Mary Etta, Patrick, James, Jane, Cora, and Nora Randolph.
These are
my great grandparents. Any information on the above listed families
would be
most appreciated.
