The following will information comes from the abstract of the home I own near Collett Park
in Harrison Township, Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana. If you are researching this
family and would like for me to send a scanned image of the document to you, please let me

Will of Corey Barbour, dec'd
"I, Corey Barbour, of Harrison Township, Vigo County, State of Indiana, make this my
last will.
I give and bequeath to my wife Lydia S. Barbour, all my personal property, together with
the rents and profits of my real estate in the above mentioned county and state, during
her life after paying taxes and repairs.
After her demise I give and bequeath all my real estate in the State of Indiana to my
brothers and sisters, and their heirs if they should not be living: viz: To my brother,
C.W. Barbour, two-sevenths, the balance to be equally divided amongst my other brothers
and sisters, Provided if my wife should die before the year 1886 the real estate not to be
divided until after that date my heirs as above mentioned to receive the rents and profits
during the interim in the above mentioned porportion.
I also give, devise and bequeath to my son, Fred H. Barbour's widow Sadie M. Barbour,
fifteen thousand dollars to be paid out of my interest in the Carbondale Mill in Jackson
County, State of Illinois, after first paying the following notes for which I am principal
and security the proceeds of which are invested in said Mill the notes are as follows: One
ot C.W. Barbour dated June 22, 1874, for nine hundred dollars ($900.00) on which there is
an endorsement of three hundred dollars ($300) dated June 22, 1875. One to Daniel Barbour,
Jr., dated Jan. 5th, 1875, for three thousand one hundred and sixty-two dollars twenty
hundreth ($3162 20-100.) One to Mrs. Wm. B. Warren dated August 20th, 1874. for six
thousand and fifty dollars ($6,050.00.) One to Mrs. Wm. B. Warren dated Sept. 7th, 1875,
for twelve hundred dollars ($1,200). One to James S. McCaw, dated Jan. 11, 1875 for
fifteen hundred and fifteen 80-100 ($1,215.80). One to Mrs. Sadie W. Barbour dated March
24th, 1875 for twe!
lve hundred and thirteen dollars ($1,213.00.) One to Daniel Barbour, Jr., dated Oct. 16,
1875, for four hundred dollars ($400.00). One to Sadie W. Barbour, dated Dec. 23rd, 1875,
for four hundred dollars ($400.00). One to Daniel Barbour, Jr., dated Jan. 5th, 1876 for
three hundred and sixteen 22-100 ($316.22), and

should anything remain after paying the above mentioned sums I bequeath the remainder to
my nephew, George W. Graham.
I appoint my brothers, C.W. Barbour and Daniel Barbour, Jr., my executors to my above
will.

Demas Deming personally appeared before the clerk of the Vigo Circuit Court nd being duly
sworn says that Corey Barbour signed his name to the above writing of date of 26 day of
Sept. 1976, as and for his last will that the same was attested and subscribed by said
affiant, and Henry S. Deming as witnesses thereto in the presence of said Testator and by
his request and that said Testator declared the same to be his last will adn that said
Testator was not at the time of executing said will an infant or of unsound mind or under
coercion.

Suscribed and sworn to before me this 6th day of March 1879.
Attest the hand and seal of office of said Clerk the day last aforesaid.

I, John K. Durkan, Clerk of the Vigo Circuit Court do hereby certify that foregoing to be
a true and complete record of the last will of said Corey Barbour, deceased and the
