Midland Glass is no longer in business. My step father worked there until
he retired in 1973. It stayed in business a few more years. I believe it
was later owned by Gartland (sp?) Foundry. In earlier years, 1950's and
1960's it was known as American Can.

Brian, I knew there was an old factory where part of Midland Glass used to
be, but wasn't sure what it was or if it was still functioning. We must be
