Vigo has a fantastic library full of info for genealogists. I love what
they have available online. Three cheers.

Subject: [InVigo] Meat on the bones of your Ancestors
If any of you are looking for names in Terre Haute and surrounding
areas
in
1913 the address below is an amazing place to visit. I have spent the
better
part of the afternoon printing and reading about the flood and Tornado of
1913. There is a list of the injured and dead. Including injuries, age and
families if known. Also a list of the injured. The story goes on to tell
about the houses destroyed by the tornado including information on the
occupants names, injuries location of homes, address and etc.
The rest of the site gives further information on other subjects and many
more names of families.
Although I found no family members I enjoyed reading several of the other
stories and will return to add more meat to my family's story.
Enjoy !
