I live in Terre Haute and go to the library at least 4 times a week. They
have obits on microfilm from the TH newspapers starting in 1900; there are
some in earlier papers but very sporadic. Most of the early ones don't tell
much, but they do help.
Obits between 1967 and 1999 are also on microfilm, alphabetized. Not
straight through, but in groups like 1967-1978, for example.
The ones from 2000 to now are in the card file.
They'll copy and send you one for a dollar, or two, I think.
I'll look some up, but I see so many requests on here that I'm afraid I
might get overwhelmed. I'd rather have a list than one at a time. I will
always have to put my paid work first, though, and right now I'm doing some
for a lady in Seattle.

I'm sorry! I guess we will just have to continue to use the
Library's
obits.
We really have to thank those people who are doing the work at the
library
for us. I wish Clay County had enough volunteers to procuce the same kind
of
product for Clay County.
