The Clay County Genealogical Society, Inc.
Hi Everyone, and from Us to You, our wish for You, is a Healthy and
Prosperous New Year!
Yours and My Society did not reach Our goal of 500 members in 2000 but again
We will aim for that number in 2001, so spread the word among Your friends,
co-workers and relatives, inviting them to join Yours and My Society.
NEWS NOTES:
1. Check the Society web-page
http://www.ticz.com/~ccgslib for the
corrections to the 2000 Researcher Index. We beg Your pardon for the
difficulty these errors may have caused You.
2. Mike, plans to have events and meetings on the web-page, take a peek now
and then.
3. The Researcher will be published in the middle of the quarter beginning
this year of 2001. Pat, will have it ready to assemble at the February
meeting, with Your delivery date around the 15th, better still, come and
help and have same day delivery.
Leaving another week to get a query to Pat, that You would like published,
sometimes getting beyond Your "brick wall" is hard. So bring it to the
meeting or e-mail, ccgslib(a)ticz.com marked "Researcher Query." Pat, still
has space to fill.
If You missed the Annual Meeting You also missed a very clever search,
"Little Johnny Liddle" had in finding his roots in Clay County.
No program planned for You in January, come and bring a friend, We can
entertain Ourselves with sharing Our "Research Stories." The meeting is
Sunday 7th of January at 2 P.M., Our gift to You was snow removal for Your
parking pleasure!
