Thanks for that. I made the error of looking only in the Rand-McNally road
atlas, and the scale is just too big to have every little named crossroads.
It probably shows (as Glenn) on state or certainly county road maps.

Glenn.
However, the book FROM NEEDMORE TO PROSPERITY: HOOSIER PLACE NAMES IN
FOLKLORE AND HISTORY, by Ronald L. Baker, says the following:
"Glen Ayr (Vigo [county]) This village originally was a mining community
owned by the Glen Ayr Coal Company and named for the coal company. Glenn
Post Office was established on March 9, 1887; closed on October 31, 1902.
Variant spellings are Glen Ayre and Glenn Ayr, and a variant name is
Glenn."
