You are correct. I made a phone call to one of the Funeral homes in Terre
Haute. They told me that the Gillis Funeral home had sold out sometime in
the 1980's and the records were given to the Vigo County Library.
So I am not sure if the home records would give me better information on
location and addresses of survivors.
I have found obit. from that area to be lacking in much detail so they may
say that some one lives in a certain place but when I look for them in the
1920 and 30 census I can not always find them. Then too the paper does not
always have the right spelling for the names.
Thank you. Dovesky

I believe that the Vigo County Public Library, has the records.
