I've been doing some research on the internet and the information about cemeteries in Vigo Co. are pretty shabby. Usually the tombstone restoration projects or even just Google maps will be good about listing them all, but this has not been the case. Specifically I am more interested in Terre Haute and Honey Creek Township so that I can look for some tombstones. Surnames being researched are Perkins, Cummins, Deming, and Williamson.

You might try this URL. I just checked a couple of your names and there are

I don't really have any information for you, but thought that I would let you
know this little that I know in case it might be of some help. My
g-grandmother's sister, Estelle Elizabeth Ferrell married Augustus Ballard in 1925 after
his wife (Nettie) had died. Augustus and Nettie had 2 children, one who died
early, and the other, Eleanor Mae, just died last year.
I have not done any research on the Ballard family. I am wondering if Elmer
was a brother to Augustus?

Thanks so much for your information. I did not know that Augustus had married again after Nettie died. Nettie was my great-aunt. I heard from another woman who gave me a lot of information about the Ballards that I would love to share with you if you are interested. Elmer was a brother but his name was Charles Elmer Ballard, so this helped me find him on census records and WWI registration records. I appreciate the additional information. Sydney Wheadon

I have built half my family tree using them. They are super helpful and really nice. I always send them a little extra when I order obits....$2 seems such a small amount
Good luck!

Does anyone have information on the above person? He married Julia Henriques whose parents both died in Terre Haute, Vigo, Indiana. Her sister Nettie married an Augustus Ballard, who was born in 1872 in Ohio, and they both died in Terre Haute also. Any help would be appreciated.
