My grandmother was Milbrey Thomas, daughter of Price Thomas and Rebecca Myers (Meyers?). She was born in 1890, married to Hugh Robertson in Vigo Co. in 1909, and died in Terre Haute in 1921. She had four children, Sylvia (my mother), Edna, living son, and Eloise. Price served in the War Between The States. John is a family name. Could this be any relation to the Thomases you are looking for? Twenty years ago some Thomas cousins still lived in Brazil, but I have lost touch.

I live a few blocks from where the glass companies were located. There is no longer a factory at that site. It was closed several years ago and sat vacant for a long time. There is now a restaurant and gas station at that site. There is a historical marker in front of the gas station about the Coke bottle being made at that site.

There is a large amount of information at the Clay County Genealogical Society about the Neese, Neice family in the Family Files. If you can't go there you can email the library at research(a)ccgsilib.org for information about prices for research by their volunteers.

Russ. Just what is it you want to know? He was in the 1900 census for Vigo county, Fayette township and is listed as a minister. It appears he gave up the ministry because in the 1910 and 1920 censuses he is in Boone county and is a farmer. Don

Hello All,
I just 'discovered' this resource. My apologies to those who are already
aware of it but for those of you who are not, it might save you time and
money.
http://www.rootsweb.com/~bwo/index.html
It is a list of book owner's who are willing to do look-ups for anyone that
asks. They also are looking for volunteers but according to the website,
that portion will not be operable again until July.
I think this can be a great resource to many of you. Good luck in your
searches.

Wow, within a short time, multiple responses, some with images of the census I needed. Thank you all so much
for the wonderful help. I would never have found his wife - her name was Lydia, but written Letta by the census taker. No wonder I couldn't catch up with them!!
Again, many, many thanks for the quick, accurate responses.
