I have 2 Thelma Breidenthals in my file of Breidenthals. They are both in
the same family. Aunt and neice. I am not aware that they ever lived in
Vigo Co. But they had relatives named Breidenthal who did live in Vigo Co.
One of these Thelmas is married to an unknown Tupp. She was born about
1926. She was a daughter of Robert Wesley Breidenthal and Susan R.
Connelly who married in Floyd Co, IN.
Robert Wesley B has a sister Thelma (born 1907) in my file and I don't
have a marriage for her. The parents of these two are George B. and Nannie
Bence Goose.
In a file given me by another researcher of B's the sister of Robert Wesley
B. marries Elmer Tapp. Dates might help me figure out which one of
us has the correct information.
George and Nannie lived in Louisville KY. Robert Wesley Breidenthal and
his wife both died in OH. I don't know if anyone lived in Floyd Co IN. I
think Robert and Susan just went there to get married.
If these are your relatives I can dig out some pictures and at least one
letter written to my grandmother. I'll be glad to share what I have on
this family and their ancestors. We would be cousins but remotely.
Judy

I went into Google and typed in Carter and had 10 choices, most of them
census; then I typed in John H. Carter and came up with seven.

I have a William Williams, born abt 1926, in IN, probably somewhere around West Terre Haute. His father was Luther James Williams, mother Nancy Bethany (McKimmy) Williams
He married a Charlene ?????, children Tonia Lee, Richard & Steven.
Any relation?
My daughter-in-law's line contains a William Williams whose name was
actually
Martin Van Buren Williams, and he died in Terre Haute at his son's home in
the early 1920's. Apparently some called him "Martin" and
yet in other sources, notably a family handtyped obit, he is called
William Williams. However, he lived in Daviess county, Martin county,
and Oklahoma before 1920. I doubt there is any connection. None
of the other names that you mention ring any bells.
