On June 13, 1913, the following picture post card was written from Fontanet, Indiana, to Miss Gladys Howard, Dougherty, Oklahoma: "Dear Cousin. Here is a picture of ma and pa in the garden...[signed] Hazel Howard. Gladys Howard was 13 years old at the time, a daughter of William Thomas Howard, formerly of Elliott County, Kentucky, son of Dyer Howard. Does anyone have any knowledge of who this Hazel Howard or her parents could be?
Need information on Jessie E. Dodson, born April 1887 in Vigo Co., IN(I
think). Her parents were William Edgar Dodson and Elizabeth (Hoffman)
Rukes. Jessie married Vern Lansing Roberts in Vigo Co., IN-----They
had 4 children, William, Julia, Bessie, Frances. Please help me with
some other info, and maybe if some one can find some, some pictures.
Thank you Anne

Kennedy - Frank, Russell, Robert
Jenkins - Margaret (from Scotland)
Leslie - Solomon, William
McNabb - George, Patrick Wright
Truttier/Trotter - Dortha, Lawrence Otis, William Henry, Conrad
Wilson #1 - Robert Thatcher, George T., Sarah (Wigham) - from England
Wilson #2 - John, Austin Bond
Here's my addition - it's off of the top of my head though. If you have any
questions about these lines, please feel free to email.
LeeAnn McNabb
If anyone can help with these names, I would appreciate it. They have been in the county since the late 1800s. Thanks!

I plan on living forever. So far, so good.
Do you Yahoo!?
Yahoo! Finance Tax Center - File online. File on time.
My ancestor was Cynthia Ann Adams. B 1817 in KY died in Vigo County in 1909.
She married Absalom Higgins in Crawford Co., IL in 1833. I believe her parents
were either Josiah-Joel-Joseph Adams. Her death certificate says Josiah and
Mary Preston, but Joel Adams married Mary "Polly" Preston in Pulaski Co., KY.
He lived in Crawford Co., IL.
Mary Gardner.
I was suspicious about the link given to click on, but I thought, well,
maybe it's ok since the message appears to come from Rootsweb.
But the link is to something that might be a games site, and it asks you if
you want to download software by Gain, which is a big nuisance if you get it
on your computer. I have seen this message posted to several genealogy
lists.
Please ignore these messages. It's spam that is getting through and
Rootsweb is addressing it.

I am looking for information on Simon and Emily KORN or their sons, Louis
(von) KORN, Charley KORN from 1870 on. Louis was married to Susan KNOWLTON IN
1883 in Marshall, Clark Co., IL.
Benjamin KNOWLTON. He was married to Barbara SMITH and had four daughters,
Jessie, Susan, Hattie, and Florence. They were born between 1859 and 1868.
Benjamin seems to have disappeared. Supposedly he came from Massachussetts, but the
only record I have of him is his marriage to Barbara in 1858 in Clark Co., IL.
Barbara's parents are confusing. On her death certificate (1918 in Terre
Haute), her parents are listed as Alfred SMITH and Mary OWENSLAGER, yet in a
newspaper article and the federal census from the 1870's, her mother is listed as
Sophia ECKELS.
These families seemed to move back and forth between Terre Haute, IN and
Marshall, IL.
Any help is appreciated!
Ellen
