Thanks for the inquiry. Unfortunately, I have conflicting information on my John Gibson. In the 1850 Nevins Twp. census, pg. 126 it lists John with his second wife, Lucinda and children as being born abt 1819 in VA. Then the 1860 (Nevins Twp. pg 165) & 1870 (Nevins Twp, pg 247) census lists him with his 3rd wife, Delila, as being born abt 1812 in KY. If you can see where either of these dates may fit it would sure be a help.

If you search the Vigo County Public Library site, click on "online databases", then "obit index", you can type in the name Shedrick and find information on Ada Margaret and Thomas James Shedrick. You can write to the library and for $!.00 they will send you a copy of the newspaper obit and from that it should list where the burial took place.
Hope this helps!

Grandview Cemetery has excellent records for their cemetery. The Cemetery can
be found by exiting US 41 on the southside of town at Vorhees St. Go east to
the end of Vorhees and then stay right on Lockport Rd. The cemetery is about a
quarter mile ahead. My Orman family is buried there.
