I still am looking for any info on who this James Rogers is that was in the household of my Great Grandfather.
Hannah was actually Hannah McCray Sparks. I have seen a family on the World Connect files that may link a Rogers
into a Sparks familyor a McCray family. Does anyone know about these families. I do have the descendants of the Adams on Charles Wesley.
I would like any other info pertaining to the other children and maybe who James Rogers was. Would love to go back on this David Adams too.

I wish I had more Jordan names before Hartwell, but all I have is his children. Mary, Robert,Sarah, Jackson, James, Margaret. Mary married Reason Vermillion, Robert married Margaret Ellen Minor, It is thought that Sarah may not have lived into adulthood, however no proof to this point., Jackson died in 1864 while in the military, Margaret married John Frazier, James married Angeline Ransdell. If any of this sounds familiar to you would love to hear from you at mjcj(a)charter.net
Am researching for the following surnames:
BONNETT, SPARKS, BALFE, TICHENOR, STRAMMER.
All lived in VIGO County during the late 1800's and the 1900's.
Am most interested in the death dates and burial places for Albert Wesley SPARKS and his wife, Letitia MILES SPARKS.

I will have to do some more looking to come up with exact birthdates, but I do know that Ann parents names were James and Mary and they were farmers. In the 1850 census her dad was 58 years old and it says that his wife was 59. But looking at where they were born I would take it that this must be a second wife because it say she was born in Maryland. My email address is cozynest(a)bloomingdaletel.com if you just want to email me maybe we can come up with birthdates and where they came frome in Ireland.

I believe we have a match! John Rice (b 14Jun1849 Vigo Co, IN) m. Ella Ward (b.17Nov1851 Vigo Co, IN). I have located 10 of their children and various dates for births, marriages, and deaths. I belive John's mother was Anna Shearn and his father Bernard Rice (Anna had a first husband named John Reed). Anna and Bernard were from Ireland and had five children. I would like to know/confirm dates and would love to know where in Ireland Anna was from.

Thank you Sharon ansd Paul.
By using the puzzle pieces you provided I found the following on Rootsweb (although I haven't substantiated the sources yet):
Emanuel Smith, b. 1865 son of David Smith Sr. (b. 1835) and Magdaline Lape (b. 1844)
Emanuel married Lucinda Bishop (b. 1869). Children were named Bessie (b. 1892), Lily M. (b. 1894), P--ona (b. 1896), Mary (b. 1897) and living child.
I'll be e-mailing the submitter to find out if the source is credible and if this is the correct Bessie that I'm looking for.
Thanks again.
