Re: [INVIGO] Stapleton
by Stapleton, W.R. (Wayne)
Hello Marie
That would be Everett Maxwell. He was married to Opal Stapleton.
I know nothing of his background.
What I do know is this.....
Everett just passed away in October/99 he had alzheimers really bad an a
hand full of other things.
He used to work for Penn Central, If my memory is correct. He was the
conductor for the Indianapolis to St. Louis run. They lived in both
Indianapolis an Terre Haute. I would visit them as a kid with my grand
parents. Opal being my grd fathers sister. Opal died in 78 and Everett
married a friend of Opal's, Opal Niece. The second Opal is still alive
an living in N. Terre town, in the sub' behind (what was, not sure if
its still there) the Stableton Ironworks.
