Subject: [INVANDER] Evansville State Hospital
Can anyone tell me the exact month/day in 1890 that the Evansville
State
Hospital opened? I have a distant relative admitted there from Daviess
CO, IN, Nov 25, 1890, and died Dec 4, 1897 and was said to have been the
oldest resident in occupancy. He was born 1861. I would like to
find out whether he married or not----- he is Charles Steiner, and I think
he is one of the few who did not get disinterred when the Lloyd came
through. I have the Evansville obit and the Daviess CO obit, no
mention of a wife. His father had the same name so I am trying to
figure out which one this gal married. Thanks.
