My RAYNOR and LINCOLN ancestors were both from New England (Long Island, NY
and MASS/VERMONT, respectively). However, sometime just after the Civil War
Lewis LINCOLN and his daughter Lettie LINCOLN, along with Alonzo RAYNOR
(Lettie's soon to be husband) removed to Illinois.
For some reason, Lettie LINCOLN and Alonzao RAYNOR were married in
Evansville on September 10, 1865. I don't know if either family had
Relatives in Evansville. By the 1970 census the family was living in
Jackson County, IL.
I don't know if there was a census taken in 1865 in Indiana, but I am

Wife of Alonzo RAYNOR - married in Evansville in 1865
