I have had problems with FTM 2008 (I know, it's a problem product, which FTM
admits, but it was a gift) so I call the FTM tech support pretty often. For
what it is worth, FTM knows there were lots of issues with 2008 and some
with 2009. They think they have corrected them in FTM 2010, which is what
they recommend. That's obviously taking a leap of faith to take their word
for it, but at least they have identified and admitted to the errors in the
previous versions.

Subject: Re: [INVANDER] Your feeling on FTM 2009 ?
I haven't got FTM 2009 but my friend did and doesn't like it at all. They
have one thing that I've wanted changed for a long time. I would like to
copy and paste the genealogy report into an email and it won't do it. I
have to copy and paste into Word and then into an email. Don't understand
why it won't work directly to email but it just doesn't.

Hello:
I am sure some of you have bought FAMILY TREE MAKER 2009.
I recently bought FTM 2009. A few weeks later they came out with FTM 2010.
I have been playing around with FTM 2009 but I am still using my old FTM
version 16, which I didn't like as well as some of the older versions.
Before I put everything over to FTM 2009, I was wondering how some of you
like it ? So far, I don't like it very well. Will I like it better after
I get used to it ?
Please express your feelings if you have FTM 2009.
Thanks,
SteveCooper
