Write to the Little Sisters. They will send a copy of his admittance
paperwork. I could not find him in the Browning funeral cards.

I am going to have to defer to Karen on this one. All I can say for sure is that in the
1900 census he indicated he was born in Apr 1869. Indiana did not require the
registration of births/deaths until 1882, so he would not be on any of the birth
registers, and most of the on-line death registers only go up to 1920. Also in 1917 when
all men under the age of 46 were required to register for the draft, he was would not have
had to because he was 48. He doesn't appear on the Social Security Death Index
because it started long after his death. Good luck. Don
