Searching for the burial place of the above. He was with "Durell's Battery"
Independent Batt. D Pa. Vol. He died at Evansville, Indiana 16 August 1863. From what I
have gathered he was aboard a hospital ship having been evacuated from the Battle of
Vicksburg. Does anyone know which cemetery in Evansville was used for Union casualties? He
was a distant cousin, namesake of my (maternal) g.g.g. grandfather, James Quein of Honey
Brook, Chester Co. Pa.
Thank you, Jim Turner
