MANSFIELD: Isaiah (Pete) Dulin Jr., 68, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Louis
Stokes VA Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio after an extended illness.
Isaiah was born July 15, 1945, in Evansville, Indiana, (Vanderburgh County) to the late
Isaiah L. Dulin Sr. and Leavie D. Shackleford.
He made Mansfield, Ohio his home. (Richland County)
He served in the Navy with military honors from 1963 to 1967; he received National Defense
Services Medal, Vietnam Services Medal with one Star, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign
Medal with Device, the Good Conduct Medal and Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
Pete leaves to cherish in his memory; a son, Mario (Clothilda) Taylor, Woodbridge, VA; two
daughters, Amy (Robert) France-Wellington, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Angie Watson, of
Detroit, MI; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Joan McNeil
and Patricia (Ronald) Banks, both of Mansfield, Ohio, Sandra (Willie) Birmingham, of West
Bloom, Michigan, and Shirley (Mike) Jones, of Cleveland, OH; sisters-in-law, Maxine Parks,
Mary Dulin, Sheri Dulin, Queen Dulin, all of Mansfield and Rita Dulin, of Columbus, Ohio,
Martha Dulin, of South Carolina; stepmother, Valerie Dulin, of Cleveland; lifelong
friends, Ronald Bond, Carrie Robertson and John Ross Brown; a host of nieces, nephews,
relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Alice Dulin-Williams; six brothers,
Oliver, Herbert, Edd, James, William and Robert; a niece, Jayla Banks.
The services will be held Friday, November 14, 2013, at 11 a.m., with one hour prior
calling at Small's Funeral Services, 326 Park Ave W., Mansfield, Ohio 44806, with
Bishop William Morris Jr. officiating.
The committal services will be held at the funeral home with military honors.
The family has entrusted Small's Funeral Services with the
