I know this email is long winded ,but I really do need the help of all
you special people to help me solve this.Lincoln Seibers is my Great
Grandfather and I can find everyone else around him but not him.So
please any help would be appreciated.I just know you all like a good
challenge.He is not on any of the census,but he is buried in Peabody
Cemetery .
We are looking for anyone that can help us solve the mystery that
surrounds our grandfather Lincoln A. Seiber. We do not know much about
his past ;were he was born or were he lived in his early years.Most all
of his family you can find in the cenus (1870,1880&1900) Anderson County
Tennesse .His father James Seiber ( B. 1848-D.1886 ) and his mother
Sarah B. Daughtery( B.1850 D.?) she was listed in 1900 cenus( Anderson
County Tennesse) living with her son Silas Seiber <spelled Seivers in
that cenus> and his sister Bertha was listed there also at that time ,
here is a list of his siblings ;Ezekiel Seiber ( B.9/16/1866- D.
11/18/1948- M. Rebecca Jane Lively B.9/2/1855) Ferden or maybe spelled
Ferdinand Seiber ( B.1887 no imformation ), Thursey Ann Seiber ( B.
2/15/1869 -D.1/1/1960 -M. ? Davis ) Silas A. ( B.1871- M. Minnie ? )
,Nicholas Seiber ( B.7/25/1873- D.11/1/1959- M. Ella Keys ),Issac Seiber
( B.9/16/1875 - D. 6/16/1964 M. Lizzie Mae Hutson) and a sister named
Bertha Seiber( B.3/31/1887-D.8/26/1967-M.Henry B. Hemgree ).Here are few
things that we do know about him.His father James can be found in the
1850&1860 cenus of Anderson County Tennesse,before he married his mother
Sarah on Dec.7,1865,then they are found in the 1870&1880 cenus with his
siblings. He was born Aug.24,1876 and died Feb.6,1973 he is burried in
Peabody Cemetery in Campbell County along with wife of 70 years,Nola
Bell Dunn B.May.8,1884 they were married Oct.29,1901, at one time they
lived a few miles north of Clinton ,Tennesse they later moved to
Campbell County Tennesse,about 1927,in 1928 they were living on Stinking
Creek ,and while living there Rev. Lincoln Seiber organized the Walnut
Grove United Baptist Church it is still there today, but in its third
building , There is a plaque on the front of the building with his name
engraved on it . They later moved to Duff Tennesse.,Lincoln worked as a
coal minner all of his life both in Anderson and Campbell County in
the last years he had a small coal mine on the land were he lived on
Catula Rd. ,He also built a small church there just below his house at
the edge of his drive way,as in his later years it was hard to travel to
Stinking Creek .Lincoln and his wife Nola lived there, in their last
years
