Good morning Maryjane,
Thanks for your response. I do believe this William is my William. I do have him listed in
the Army in the 1930 census records. By any chance, do you have any dates for his death? I
will check on line as well and look to see if I can locate his wife's maiden name. I
still have my aunt, his niece, living, but she is in her 90's and forgets a lot. She
did have an Uncle Bob, but that was Robert I'm sure. Maybe William's middle name
was Robert and friends called him "Bob". I will check this further and see if I
can find more out.
I do have the census records and the ones you sent are correct. Thank you. The Mary Ann in
the 1910 census was my great grandmother and their daughter Anna May was my grandmother.
Her father John did not move to Indiana until about 1900 after his mother passed. He, his
father Paul, and brother Frank moved to Evansville. They had a sister Catherine that
stayed here in Ohio. I think I found Paul Huwig that died 07 Jul 1910. John and Paul moved
back to OH after that. I need to send for this death certificate and hope to find some
information to make sure this is my Paul. I did have an Uncle John there so this is
another reason why I believe this is my Paul.
Thanks for the information on Elizabeth. I will track the school down and see if they will
release records. If this is my Elizabeth, she became a nun and her last known residence
was working at S. Jude's Hospital in Kentucky. I did contact them, but no response. My
aunt told me one of the kids, and she could not remember who, married a person by the name
of FOWLER, but not related and Patty Page is one of her cousins, but she does not remember
who her parents were. I can't find the Fowlers in Oklahoma at the time of Patty
Page's birth that would fit into my family.
Thanks again for your help and any other info you come across.
Sincerely,
Pat Miller

It appears that St. Anthony Hospital in Vigo County, IN was a regular
hospital. It is possible that Elizabeth was in the school of nursing in
1920. She would have been the right age for that. You might want to check
with their records. I'm a nurse and our alumni association has information
on all graduates from when the school first opened.
Before I do anymore research, I need to know if this is the kind of thing
you want or whether or not you already have all of this. I just don't want
to duplicate what you already have. Let me know if you want me to continue.
