Hi--
I am hoping someone will know this info on social security. I know it was enacted in
1935. Did the age 65 plus receive benefits when it became law? I know there was a
certain waiting period before the first benefits were issued. When looking at the SSDI,
there is always when the card was issued, (1951). It seems it is hard to locate info
online about a person who died before 1960. Just hoping someone can clear this up--
email me personally at gkeusch(a)psci.net Thanks. Helen Zuber Keusch
