The spelling is correct. Uxor ejus means "his wife."

I have a birth certificate from 1889 performed at St. Boniface. I gives
the sponsors as Joseph Bergwitz and Catharina, "uxor ejus". Does anyone
know what this means? The spelling might not be right, it is hard to read.
I am guessing these people might have been married.
Thanks,
Nancy
