I am searching for any information of the following family.
Polly, born in 1840 in Tennessee married a Miles, born ca 1840. They had
the following children: John Shepard "Bud" Miles (1864-1948) and Isic Miles
(1964-1948).
Polly married a second time to a Mr. House. They had the following children:
1. Corckett House. Born in 1872. In ca. 1898, Crockett was 26 and married
Minnie L. Unknown, in Kentucky. Minnie was born July 1878 in Tennessee.
2. Christopher House. Born 12/18/1873 in Kentucky. Christopher died in
Ballard Co.,Ky 6/10/1957, he was 83. Buried in Newton Creek Baptist Church
Cemetery., Paducah, Ky. Christopher married Minnie E. Unknown. Minnie was
born 7/1878 in Tennessee. Minnie died in Ballard Co., Ky on 8/20/1970,
she was 92.
Isic Miles (may be Isie?) lived in Bandana District, Ballard Co., Ky in
1900. Lived in Ragland & Ogden Landing Road area of Paducah, McCracken
Co.,Ky in 1910. Isic had the following children from his first marriage
to unknown:
1. Ethel Miles Born 1892
2. John W. Miles Born 1896
Isic married someone named Hattie, born in 1879 in Tennessee
Isic married someone named Annie M., born ca. 1887 in Ohio
John Shepard Miles, born in 1865 in Illinois, died in Evansville, Indiana.
Lived in the Bandana District, Ballard Co., Ky in June 1900. Lived in Ragland
& Ogden Landing Road area of Paducah, McCracken Co., Ky in 1910. In ca.
1890 John Shepard "Bud" Miles first married (wife Unknown). They had the
following children:
1. Herbert Lee Miles (1892-1950)
2. Cecil Gertrude Miles ( 3/1895-1972)
John Shepard Miles then Married Alice. D. Staley. Alice was born 1881 in
Kentucky. Alice died Before 1926 in Evansville, Indiana.
I am looking for information On birth dates, death dates, last names, anything
that will take this family back farther in history. I would appreciate
and information you can give me. Even hints on were to look for more information.
