The time period seems to be from at least 1880's to the 1920's

10.9 Crescent City Chair Works’ price list of double cane and rattan seats
and maple and walnut chairs; located in Evansville, Indiana; dated 1882
In "An Evansville Album, Perspectives on a River City, 1812-1988"
by Darrel E. Bigham has a photo on page 115 of the inside of the old
Crescent Furniture Factory with people dancing.
The caption says: "During the Great Depression, entertainment
was necessarily simple for the majority of the people. This photograph
shows a dance at the WPA Community Center, located in the old Crescent
Furniture Factory at Franklin Street and First Avenue"
I don't believe the building is there anymore.
There's not a listing for Crescent Furniture company in the current
Evansville phone book.
