The Evansville Directories lists her as a widow of both a Dewitt and a
John. Please note that she had sons by those names. You probably need to
consider the possibility that she was never married. I had a gr, gr, gr,
grandmother in Warrick Co. who had several children, but was never
married. They often called themselves widows.
