The OH marriages are online at ancestry, but I don't know if all the
counties are online (Hamilton CO-- Cincy-- is not online, which is where my
Germans liked to hang out before they came into IN), and hard telling how
the names were spelled. If you had a name like Henry Smith you'd have a
thousand hits. Also, with many German names, they were Anglecized-- my
g grandmother was born a Gutekunst and her family became Goodart by the 1840
census. Goodart is a literal translation of Gutekunst. Helen Zuber

forever searching the EAKINS, FORD/FOARD, MELTON, WALCUP, SANDEFUR, EZELL,
HANDLEY, THOMASSON, BIGGERSTAFF, ZUBER, GUTEKUNST/GOODART, ANTHIS, BANGERT,
LAND, CRABTREE, BENNETT, EDWARDS, REEVES, WOFFORD families--my lines; and on
hubby's side the families of MEHRINGER, SCHITTER/SCHUETTER, HOCHGESANG,
SCHMITT, HURST, BECHER, KEUSCH, ZIMMERMAN, ACKERMAN, BURGER, and HOPF (and
some side-lines).

Thanks for the info.
You are right... Mary is the 4 year old daughter born in OHiO and
Dorothy is the sister to Henry Schultz. Henry, his wife and daughter
moved to Moniteau co. MISSOURI (Jamestown) and is in the 1860
Missouri census. I guess I'll keep trying to find their marriage
record in Ohio.
