You wouldn't be able to participate. It just for direct male descendants.
The test they do is in genes handed down only from father to son.
Instead, you'd have to have a brother or uncle submit their DNA.
Then it is only for comparing the direct line of your father ancestors,
his father's father's fathers' fathers, fathers,....

for the Land family. Since females carry two X chromosomes, and this Land line is on
my dad's mother's father, would I carry that DNA? Would I carry male DNA from
my dad's father since it would be on my dad's Y's gene? I am in a fog on
