Thank you for the information. This will help. I thought perhaps Evansville
would be the location; I didn't imagine him moving. Since I sent the
request, I've gone back and restudied the 1880 census and (the handwriting
is not clear) but I think William's wife is listed as Jane instead of
Jennie. Which fits better with something I located in my files (also after
posting) that my mom wrote--Sarah Jane Long White.
