I am not related to your ancestry, but noted in the 2 vol. "History of
Vanderburgh Co., Indiana", published 1910, the Catholic churches were:
Holy Trinity, organized in 1851 by those Catholics who only spoke German.
Assumption Church was the first Catholic parish church south of Vincennes.
St. Mary's church dates back to 1866.
St. Boniface's parish was organized in 1880.
Sacred Heart Parish began in 1887
"Early Death Records Evansville, Vanderburgh county Indiana 1818-1883"
by Eleanor Glenn Tenbarge 1990.Lists several early Sonderman /Sondermann
names buried at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery,and St. Mary's, but neither
of your Schwartz names appear there.
This book says Holy Trinity Church was the second Catholic church formed
in the City of Evansville, it opened in 1849. There was a cholera epidemic
in 1849/1850.

SM record; Maria Theresa Sondermann b 19 Dec. 1873, died 27 June, buried
28 June 1874, d/o Henry and Sophia (Fligel) Sondermann.Sm refers to St.
Marys record.
John Benj. Rieber SM (St. Mary's note) born 26 June 1874, s/o Jacob and
Maria T. (Sondermann) died 12 July 1874.

9 Oct. 1855 Anna M. Sonderman d/o Henry and Adelaid 1 year 8 months
St. Mary's Church
1 July 1870 Tobias b. Sondermann s/o Henry and Sophia 6 months
6 November 1870 Herman Sondermann s/o Henry and Sophia 3 years .
10 July 1874 John B. Ruber (listed as Rieber above) s/o Jacob and Maria
Sondermann Ruber 15 days.
Holy Trinity Catholic Church:
17 August 1853 George Schwarz 68 years
10 December 1854 Michael Schwarz s/o Ignatz and Salome 7 months.
