Will certainly go get pics for you, but not tomorrow. It is icing here at the moment and
tomorrow is supposed to be about the same. I just live a couple of miles from there, so
it is no worry.
As for St. Boniface, yes it is an old congregation, dating from the 1870s. For many
years, it was the "German" westside church (the sermon and sacraments were
administered in in German) whereas Sacred Heart (1885) was the "English"
westside church.
As for church records, they are all available on microfilm at LDS, (but where there, I
don't know). The local bishop struck a deal some years ago with the Mormons allowing
them to microfilm ALL extant church records, with the proviso that the Diocese be given a
copy. I do know that almost all of the early St. Boniface records are in Latin and/or
German. The notations that various pastors made in the margins are in German, and some
are quite hilarious. Hope all this helps. If I can help in any other way, please do not
