I think the old Catholic cemetery was next to St. Joe on East Virginia.
St. Joe cemetery people might have information they can give you. They
are very helpful and you can get the number online. Also there is
probably some people on the Vander mail list that can help you. I hope
they put the info on the Vander list, as I am also curious. I had
relatives originally buried at the old Catholic graveyard and were
disinterred and moved to St. Joe on the west side of Eville. The St.
Joe people did tell me there were many graves that had no headstones in the
old cemetery, those were buried in a mass grave by the statue of St.
Joseph in the new cemetery. Helen Zuber Keusch

I was recently in Evansville and found that lots of my relatives were in
St. Joseph's Cemetary. Some had been re-interred in the 1870's.
Does anyone know the name of the Old Cemetary in Downtown Evansville? And
where I can find any info on them.
I am looking for a list of those interred and if there was a list with
birth dates and death dates, or any other information if there was not a
headstone. My relatives died between 1850 - 1870.
