Listmembers,
I am looking for Knight family members
who lived in Vanderburgh Co. .
Richard Nelson Knight B 1857, Livingston
Co., Ky and his wife
Mary Susan Ham Knight B abt. 1857,lived in
Vanderburgh Co., for several yrs.
during the late 1800s. I only know of
2 of their children Cora Lillie and Robert
Clarence, they had others.. Robert Clarence
was born in Vanderburgh Co., in 1892.
I am not sure his mothers maiden name
was Ham as I thought, because someone
looked up Rroberts birth record and her
maiden name was Johnson, which I thought
was Mary Susan Ham Knights Mothers
maiden name. Richard and Mary moved
back to Ky. around 1900 and remained there for their lives. I have found records
of Cora who married Elvis Croft in Ky., but
Robert Knight 37, must have moved back
as he shows up on the 1930 census
married to a Rosa 48 who had 2 children
Paul Aders 18 B Indiana and Ravelle Aders
14 B Indiana. Could the name be Adler??
In 1920 Robert 28, was living in Crittenden
Co., Ky. with wife Rosie 24 and daughter
Vilike Orme Knight 6 B Ky.. I don't know
what happened to Roberts first wife and
child??? Robert may have had siblings
who stayed in Vanderburgh Co., Indiana
when his parents Richard and Mary moved
back to Ky. around 1900.. They married
around 1877 so they probably had grown
children..
Richards Nelson Knights parents were
William and Delilah Vaughan Knight.
William b abt 1820 says on census he
was born in Indiana.
Any thing sound familiar??
Perhaps someone knew of Robert Knight
or the Aders or Alders.
Thank You
Sandra Firek
