>Looking for any information regarding marriage between OPAL (maiden
name unknown) to CHARLES WILLIAM CALDWELL which may have occurred
about 1914. A daughter, NADINE, (birth information has her listed as
MADINE) was born in 1915. I am looking for anyone who is connected to
CHARLES WILLIAM CALDWELL, born in 1866 in Mattoon, Coles County, IL,
died 2-12-1924, Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. He was married several
times to possibly other unknown wives, and unknown other children I
may be related to. CHARLES married CHARLOTTE MARGARET LALLANCE
January, 1891, in Huntington, WVA, lived in Chicago where MYRTLE ALICE
CALDWELL DOD, was born.
>My Father, EUGENE, was born in 1898, Brother to MYRTLE.
>CHARLES was reported to have lived in Evansville and was an attorney.
Wish to find anyone else he married, or any of
>his other unknown children. CHARLES also married VIOLA
>WALKER, and had two sons, ROBERT GRANT, and HENRY POWELL (later
changed to DONALD) CALDWELL in Columbus, Barthlowmew Co., IN. ROBERT
GRANT was born in 1904 in Delaware Co., and was married in March of
1903 in Rising Sun, IN, Ohio Co. I believe the marriage to OPAL would
have occurred in Vanderburgh Co. since he was living in Evansville at
the time. Anyone who knows anything about CHARLES WILLIAM CALDWELL, I
would be most interested in connecting with this lost side of my family.

Dear James: My husband Roger Lanoie`s mother is Corinne Tougas. She is the daughter of Albert Tougas, born April 27th, 1921 and Angeline Lavallée.
Albert Tougas parents were Tehophile Tougas and Mathilda Patenaude; Albert was born on July 10th, 1889 in Central Falls, Rhode Island, baptized on July 18, 1889 in Notre Dame Church, 666 Broad St. Central Falls, Rhode Island.Joseph Fancois Albert Tougas' siblings were Arthur, Eulalie, Henri, Edward, Philias, Alphonse, Edmond, Albert (my husband's grandfather), Joseph, Oscar, and two others that we do not have names for. I have a copy of a photograph of this family. I also have a copy of his homestead paper from the Dominion Lands Office in Mose Jaw, Sask. dated May 19, 1913. We have a copy of his Certificate of Naturalization from the Dominion of Canada on the 21st of October, 1920. He was married to Angeline Lavallée on April 27th, 1921 in Willow Bunch, Saskatchewan Canada.Albert's children were (12 of them ) Corinne, Alice, Henri, twin girls Jeanne and Jeanette - both deceased at 14 mos.) Marcel, Roland (deceased at 8 yrs.) Leo (deceased at 2 yrs.) Monique, Rolan!
de, and Elizabeth . Of these, only Monique, Corinne, Marcel and Elizabeth are surviving still. If this family seems somehow related to you... It would be great to get a reply. I am trying to do some genealogy research, but have no clue where to start on any of it. We had a Tougas Reunion on July 1-3, 1988, and Rolande (now deceased) was the one who dug-up what she could find and this is all that we have on this leg of the family. Thanks. e-mail jr.lanoie(a)sasktel.net
Sincerely, Joan Lanoie
