1888-1892 Evansville City Directory, according to an index, lists a "Wm Hudson, Pigeon City" NOTE: Anyone have access to the original to verify this family is still there in 1880?
The indices I accessed had no listing for a Wm in Vanderburgh for 1880. Does anyone have an index that does list one and where?

Does anyone have access to this volume? I am trying to narrow down the choices for Hudsons in Vanderburgh Co., 1879-1880. I have found three in the 1870's census, but none in the 1880. I found a index to this city directory that seemed to indicate that there was a Wm Hudson in Evansville, Pigeon Twp, for the period 1888-1890.
Can anyone verify this for me?
The family I am looking for would have had a William born about 1830, a wife named Emily or Emma, and a son Louis / Lewis b. ca. 1869, and a daugher named Millie, born ca. 1871-75.
Thanks if anyone can help.

Dear Judy,
Have heard the word "vamasco" used in trade..Pipefitting or covering trade.
I was wondering if anyone on this list may have access to the city
directories and could do a small lookup for me.
I have a great Aunt - Elizabeth Hayden, b. 1880 and I think she moved to
Evansville IN after 1900. I know she was in Breckinridge Co. Ky in 1900
in the census. Her Mother (Barnara Hayden) and younger sister (Nora
Hayden) were in Evansville in the city directory in 1919 and several
years later.
I would like to know if Elizabeth can be found in the city directory
between 1900 and 1919.
I would appreciate any help that can be provided.

Looking for information on ANY of the Hudson's in Vanderburgh ca 1868 to 1875. I am trying to eliminate people to identify a family.
This line would have had a William b. about 1827, VA ?
wife was Emily b.about 1847 IN
son Lewis or Louis Hudson born 1869, In
a daughter Millie born about 1871, IN
Benjamin KANE, stepson, b. 1866 IN
A Wm Hudson and an Emily KANE md in Evansville, 1868.
Also interested in learning about the families of a Wm Hudson in Pigeon City ca 1850- 1891.
Also a Wm Hudson, 41 born in "Eng" with wife Emma 26 yrs., and son Louis, 1 yr old, on the 1870 census, Pigeon Twp. These are all the right ages for the group I am seeking, except for the "Eng" birthplace.
Also, a Wm, b. KY "photographer"
ANYONE having ANY information on these -- PLEASE contact me!
Thanks
