Would someone please look in the index to Marriage Records Vanderburgh
Co. 1846-1920, Vol. V, letters M-O, Page 223
for Amelia Schoenlaub and Daniel O'Donnell, May 11, 1881?
Thanks for your help.

Fay,
Thanks for the information. When I looked at the Browning web site before I didn't think to try using CARROLL with only one L . But the Lena listed there is the one I was looking for.
Going to send for her death cert today to discover what her maiden name is. She had once filled out a form stating my Grandfather was her nephew and I just cannot figure out where she fit in and who she is.
Thanks for the help.

Usually the first date, when two dates are given, is the birthdate of the first name given. The second date given is the marriage date. The w is for the race of the person listed.

After the year 1881 what does the W June 29 1912 49 70 mean? Any idea ?
Thanks again.

Looking for information on George and Lena Carroll. From what I could find so far, George's middle name may be M. and may have been born in Tn in 1858. He died 4 Jan 1941 in Evansville, Vanderburgh Co. Ind.
At that time his family was listed as LENA - wife, three daughters, MRS. JAS ROWLS, MRS GEO POWEL and MRS ALICE WEAVER all of Tn.
Two sons, F.T. of Tn and DEYER (or DEWEY) of Evansville.
Also have reason to believe that George's wife, Lena, may have been a second wife.
Thank you for any help

Fay, Thank you for such a speedy reply. A further question: do you know if there are any living HENNON's living in Vanderburgh County? I am in the process of planning a HENNON reunion to be held in the Bloomington, IN area this summer and would like to invite other Hennon's. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.
