Willard library would be a good place to start your research.
I am not sure of the years, but they have deeds on micro-film. Several rolls. unsure if they have an index. Just ask at the desk and they will point you in the right direction. You can make copies for less at Willard library

Can anyone tell me the best route for checking Vanderburgh Co. deeds from the late 1800 through early 1900's? I'm wondering what's available at Willard Library (any indexes, microfilms, etc.) vs. going to the County Clerk's office for this info. Will be traveling to Evansville soon to do research. Appreciate any suggestions - thanks.

Thanks for the info sent. Julia had one more sister, Elizabeth who married Martin Dietsch. What I am more interested in, is the mother of Elizabeth, Julia and Maggie, who was the wife of Peter Marx Jr. from Vanderburgh County. We have never found out her name. Also be advised the the same obit web site contains the obits of Peter Marx, Elizabeth Dietsch and Maggie Dahlke. Thanks Again
