Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I have also not been able to access either of their sites for several days.
Tried the Evansville Library direct and unable to access them too. They must
have a problem. Perhaps someone in the Evansville area can check and inform
us what the problem us.

Hi List,
In two weeks, my dad and I will be going to the Allen County Library in Ft. Wayne, IN - the second largest place for genealogy records in the U.S. Just to let you know I will take requests to do a lookup for either census, death index, birth index, or marriage index. I will, however, request a contribution to defray costs of copies and postage. Please include the county and state. I am on more than one mailing list. Thanks.
Monica

It will sound a bit odd,SO let me explain
You see EDWARD JOHNSON below was born in Butler Co Ky he married young then left his wife and daughter and came to Evansville for a time he then left for MICHIGAN remarried and then settled with a new family in EVANSVILLE IN

Also after you read EDWARD'S info below
You will see the RAYMER/JOHNSON family that he visited in BUTLER CO KY from time to time before he died ,His children referred to them as aunts and uncles.
Since I am not sure who EDWARD JOHNSON'S parents are just yet I am not sure how they fit into his family BUT EDWARD'S daughter RUTH is still living and she called one of the family members YEARKEE JOHNSON uncle YEARKEE he is below listed in the RAYMER / JOHNSON

My G-grandfather is John Robert Johnson born in 1889. He married Rofa Raymer. He moved from Kentucky to Evansville, but I'm not sure what year. I know very little about his or her family. I'd appreciate any help you might be able to give.
