Surname: Anslinger
-------------------------
Vanderburgh Co. IN. Although Edward Anthony Anslinger was not of my line,
a Jim Anslinger lists him in his line. Ancestors of both Jim and myself
are from St. Martin Germany. At this point we are trying to connect the
two families. A possibility exists about the 1690/95 time period. We await
proof. If you have not been in contact with Jim let me know and I will
send you his e.mail address.

I need the orbits to find who their children were. my first cousins.
Forever grateful, Lewis
Louis Jr. was the son of Louis Schemet[Schmidt] from Lomersheim, Wertenburg Germany.
B.1823.D. 1889. The mother of Louis Jr. was from my line, the Stahl family of
Lomersheim. They were all butchers in Germany and the U.S. Louis Sr married Carolina
Fredicka Regina Stahl ,19 Feb 1848. She was born in 30 Apr. 1828, daughter of Johann
Jacob Stahl and wife Johanna, in Lomersheim.Died in Vanderburg Co 24 June 1894
buried at the Salem campground Cem. in Evansville.
I have a little more on the Schemet family but it will take me a little time to dig
it up. It is not a line I've done much on.There is a family book on film [ all in
German ]from Lomersheim in the collection of the F.H.L. it lists all the people in
the parish. Will check to see if it contains more on the Schemets. If this is your
line let me know. Nancy
