Alice & Charlotte,
I don't know how much I can help, as I have found only a little on
the Gard family, but I did find a number of cemetary entries in my
searching around the Indiana pages. I would be interested in who the 15
children are the "Children of" as your message, Alice, is not clear.
Are they Benjamin and Eliza Adams' children, or are they the children of
her daughter Eliza, who married John Newell Pentecost in 1858? I assume
this is the daughter you refer to. I am related to the Pentecost's of
the Liberty area. They also are found extensively in all the counties
you named. (They still live there). I have info on some descendants of
Benjamin and Eliza Adams>Eliza and John. I have the names of 3
Pentecost/Gard children and some of their offspring, etc. Can either of
you fill in any of this data for me. I would be happy to share,
also...Go to
Pentecost.org and check out John of Indiana. You will find
the Gard info there.
Thanks, Bill Pentecost
