I will keep my eye out for George Perkins and his clan. Please, if you would
watch for my Rinker-Perkins connection. Elizabeth Rinker: Born 1788 in
Shenandoah County, Virginia. Moved with family to Greene County, Tennessee
where she married Simon Perkins on 27 January 1812. They moved with the
Rinker family to Wayne County (became Union Co.), Indiana before 1820.
Elizabeth Rinker Perkins' father, George Rinker, who died in 1835, mentioned
in his will, a Grandson - Valentine Perkins.
Valentine Perkins married Mary Meyers in Union County after George Rinker
died (I have the date at home if its important to you.)

Hi
I'm new to your list. I've been told that a George PERKINS was on the
1840
census of Union Co., IN. I am his g.g.g.granddaughter, if it's my
George, and I believe it is. He probably moved there from Wayne Co, and by
1850 was in Madison County, so he didn't stay long!
He was married to NORA AGNES ALLEN, probably by 1830. Does anyone have
any info on
this family or any local resources I could check?
Thanks for your time.
Rose
