Aventar,
Thanks for looking that up for me. I do not believe the 1880 census
record you found is my Thomas Little. The dates are close but every other
census has him being born in Ohio and I do not know of him having a son by
the name of John. I believe Thomas and Dorothy were married in Butler
County and I think Thomas might have been born or at least raised there. My
theory is that his parents may have been buried in a cemetery in Butler
County and Thomas and Dorothy may have been buried there too.
There is also a good possibility that they are buried in Silver Creek
Cemetery. Their stone may be buried or something. In a cemetery that we
are restoring in Wayne County, we have found five never recorded stones that
were buried underground. The search continues for Thomas and Dorothy.
Thanks again for helping,
Tim

First they may be buried in Silver Creek. It has been vandelized many
times. I
know there is a great-great grandfather is buried there and his
tombstone was destroyed.
However I did look up the 1880 census. The only possiblilty in Ohio or
Indiana was
Hope, Bartholomew County Indiana. Thomas Little aged 72 born
1808 in Virginia. He is a widower living with his son and family (John
Little).
