Surname: Gardner, Perdue
Isaac Garner married Sarah Perdue 6-10-1842 in Union County.
There is an Isaac Gardner and Isaac Gardner, Jr. listed in the 1830
census, as well as other Gardners. Go to the Union county site and you
can view this info. The marriage info comes from the Indiana marriages
through 1850 database.
If anyone wants a very detailed ancestry of Isaac Gardner, husband of
Sarah Perdue please contact me for a very large ancestry file on this
line back to Thomas Gardner of Salem, MA I am not able to make
attachments to replys to this site, but have very much detailed file on
many of the Union Co, Quaker families in my file. I've already replied
to Dorothy as to this line, and coming forwards from Solomon Gardner as
so many of his descendants went to NC, and then on to Indiana, and most
of these descendants are married to distant cousins so the ancestry is
rather complex. Of course Isaac is descended from the Gardners, Coffins,
Macys, Starbucks, Swains, etc of Nantucket. Richard Gardner (2) married
Sarah Shattuck and her sister Damaris Shattuck married Isaac Page and
they moved to Perquimans Co, NC then this connects in so many ways to
the families from Perquimans, and Pasquotank Co, Quaker families that
also came to Indiana, the Nixon's, Charles's, Symon's, Hill's,
Nicholson's, Anderson's, Jones', Overman's, Gilbert's, etc. So many
of
these families are intermarried that many of us descendants have so many
multiple lines back to all of these families. So if any of you have any
Quaker connections in Union Co, from the Salem/Silver Creek Monthly
Meeting and want information or to share information, my file has about
48,900 names in it now of mostly Quaker lines to Indiana.
