It was a small population and we have a common name, however I'm not sure
this will help.
My ancestor, George Rinker, lived in Greene County. Tenn. for awhile and had
a daughter, Elizabeth, who married Simon Perkins there on 27 January 1812.
Later the various Rinker families, along with Simon and Elizabeth Perkins,
moved to Union County, Indiana.
George Rinker's will (1835) mentions his Grandson, Valentine Perkins. This
Valentine married Mary Myers on 16 Aug 1842.
I have not investigated the Perkins line nor have I found any reference to
Francis and Margaret (Classick) Perkins. Your Francis may not be related to
my Valentine, but if you find any familiar names let me know and I tell you
more about the folks I have studied.

Subject: Marriage information
I hope that someone in your group can help me. I just ran across
some
information on some of my family members. From the IGI records film
number
1985666 tells me that Francis Perkins married Margaret Classick in
1853 in
Indiana. It does not give me a county, but as they were living in Union
County in 1855 I was hoping they were married there.
Thank you,
Kevin E. Perkins
