I don't track Colvin's but I did have this note. I hope it is of use to someone.
The Account Book of William Colvin, entries for which began in 1768, included an entry at
some later time to one George Bruner. Colvin lived in a log cabin and kept a trading
place, tavern, and
distillery in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, at Redstone Township. Presumably, his place
was on or near the National Road, near the historic Redstone Fort (present-day
Brownsville) on the Monongahela
River, jumping off place for thousands of pioneers who settled the Ohio River valley.

Just came across your message. I have a few Indiana relatives and am wondering if there
are any biographies for Ewings and Logans. They mainly resided in Franklin, Clinton and
Carroll Counties.
